Welcome to the official City Band Department of Records and Miscellaneous Things, the place where we keep those bits and pieces you can download, program guides, set lists, who knows ... The members of the city band see our role in the community as more than just the soundtrack for parades, fanfares and bandstand concerts in the park: we are also keenly interested and actively involved in music education throughout the Bruce-Grey counties. Young and old, City Band members are found in the Georgian Bay Symphony Orchestra and the Little Theatre, some teach music privately or in the schools, some mentor the GBS Youth Orchestra, they volunteer at the Kiwanis Festival of Music, teach at the Southampton Summer Music Camp and just generally weave themselves into the fabric of musical life of Owen Sound and the surrounding area.

In the process, we collect things. Tips, guides, practice materials, old photos and classroom posters, all sorts of things that then sometimes find themselves posted to our Facebook page (an excellent reference for school and community band players anywhere!) or filed here for free download.
